The Dividend Calendar: Access to More Than 35,000 Dividend Securities

The Parqet Dividend Calendar is live

Update 06/27/2025: The dividend calendar is now also available in the Parqet mobile app. You can find all details in the blog article.

Dividend securities are among the most popular assets in the Parqet community. In 2022 alone, the community collectively received more than 20,000,000 euros in dividends: More than 20,000,000 euros in dividends in 2022

So it's no surprise that the request for a dividend calendar was voted into first place in the feature voting. With today's update, this wish becomes reality:

The Parqet Dividend Calendar is now live

As always, we incorporated the wishes and suggestions of the community during development. The result is a very powerful tool with dividend data for more than 35,000 dividend securities.

The dividend calendar can also be integrated into your own calendar (e.g., Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.).

Go to Dividend Calendar

A Powerful Tool with Many Views, Filters, and Settings

The dividend calendar is accessible from the side navigation and is designed to support you in your dividend strategy.

Dividend Calendar Monthly View

By default, the calendar opens in the monthly view, which displays dividends from the most popular stocks in the Parqet community. When you hover over one of the dividends, the most important dividend metrics of an asset are displayed in an overlay.

To maintain clarity, a maximum of 5 dividends are displayed per weekday. All dividends for that day can be shown via the "Show more" button. This opens a list view showing all dividends we have for that month.

The dividend metrics are displayed clearly in a table. The type of view can also be changed via the corresponding icons in the top right.

In addition to the calendar and list views, you can also switch between a monthly and yearly view.

Show or Hide Weekends

Most stocks and funds pay dividends only during the week. Therefore, Parqet only shows Monday through Friday by default. However, since there are occasionally distributions on weekends, you have the option to show weekends.

Simply click on the small eye icon in the top left of the calendar.

Settings and Filters for the Dividend Calendar

The 35,000 dividend securities supported by the calendar is a lot. To bring clarity to this amount of data, we've built in several filters and settings that can be combined as desired.

Asset Filter

By default, the calendar displays the 1,000 most popular dividend stocks in the community. If you wish, you can also display all assets, or only assets from various indices. Additionally, there's the option to display only specific asset classes such as ETFs or funds.

Portfolio and Watchlist Filter

Parqet subscribers have access to two additional filters: a portfolio filter and a watchlist filter. The portfolio filter allows you to filter only dividends from assets in your own portfolio. Individual portfolios can be freely selected or deselected. The watchlist filter works similarly, allowing you to filter assets on a watchlist.

Both filters are particularly useful in combination with the calendar integration, which we cover in a separate blog post.

Choose Between Ex-Date and Payment Date and Different Currencies

Additional settings include the choice between ex-date and payment date. This implements another feature request from the community.

Ex-Date: The ex-date describes the record date on which a stock must be in the portfolio to be entitled to the dividend.
Payment Date: The payment date describes the day on which the actual distribution takes place.

Algorithmic Prediction of Expected Dividends

The dividend preview is one of the most popular features among Parqet subscribers. As soon as a dividend is announced for one of your holdings, we inform you about it. In the dividend calendar, we go a step further for the first time by making predictions about expected dividends. These are marked with an "E" symbol.

How We Calculate the Expected Dividend:

We calculate the expected dividends based on historical dividend data. We forecast when future dividends will be paid and how much they will be.

If we have dividend data for an asset from the last 10 years, we calculate upcoming dividends based on the dividend growth of the last 10 years (CAGR 10 years). If we don't have the dividend growth of the last 10 years, we use the median value of all assets for which we have 10-year growth. This value is currently 5.07% (as of April 2023).

Disclaimer: The calculation of expected dividends are estimates that may differ from actually paid dividends. We do not include current company figures, news, or similar information in the calculation.

Integrate Dividend Calendar into Your Own Calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.)

The dividend calendar can be integrated into your own calendar, such as Google Calendar or Outlook, upon request.
