With the latest Parqet update, you can now add interest for your cash holdings. We've also given the portfolio and dividend dashboards a small facelift. Here are the details:

Adding Interest in Parqet

The community requested the ability to add interest for cash balances. Thanks to the new "Interest" activity type, this is now possible. The benefit is quite self-explanatory: if you receive interest on your cash holdings, you can easily record it using the new activity type. It's also possible to enter negative values, so you can also record negative interest.

How to Add Interest in Parqet

The new activity type is available as usual in the activity form. When selecting the "Cash" holding type, you can now choose Interest as the type in addition to Deposit and Withdrawal.

As part of this update, we have also expanded the cash holdings table with several columns (Interval Start, Dividends, Interest, Realized). On the activities page, interest naturally gets its own filter as well.

Facelift for the Portfolio and Dividend Dashboard

Since we want to keep Parqet clear despite the constantly increasing number of metrics, asset types, etc., we regularly give individual pages smaller and larger facelifts. In this update, we redesigned both the portfolio dashboard and the dividend dashboard. On both pages, we structured the information with a clearer hierarchy based on importance. Especially for portfolios with a large number of recorded activities, the new dashboards now offer more clarity.
